Thank you for your input, I am having trouble finding anything on Michael Lorentz (1820-1871). I believe he arrived in 1854 but don't know what port or how he got from the east coast to Illinois. He married Elizabeth (Ditman) I thought, but it looks like that was wrong, it was a Elizabeth Albert (1836-1891) and she was from Penn.?
I know Michael Lorentz 1820-1860 died in Calif. but his wife is listed as widowed, not sure what happened there.
Is Michael born 1820 - 1860 and Michael born 1820- 1871 2 different people? I will do some research and I will try to give you an answer by Christmas Eve if that is ok. But if I found anything I will let you know sooner. It may take me a little while because I will be buzy tomorrow but I will try. Nsueturney60
Am I bad, sorry for the mix up, I have two Michaels. My 2G grandfather was born 1820-died 1871. He's the one I'm trying to locate from the east coast to Ill.
He married Elizabeth Albert (1836-1891) I think she was from Penn. They had Michael (1860-1919) he married Lean Wolf (1870-1930). I'm also looking for a thread on her but one thread at a time
