Louis arrived in Canada about 1908 with wife Lizzie ?, and children, Louis Jnr. and Dorothy.They settled in the Winnipeg area. Louis joined the army in WWI,and was invalided out because of ill-health. This was the last known detail of him and his family; When did he die and where is he buried? What happened to Lizzie and his two children?

Louis was born in London in 1856 and was first married to Fanny Brown
with whom he had four children - Ernest,Grace,Stanley and Ruby. Stanley and Ruby were born in Melbourne, Australia. Louis then settled in South Africa before proceeding to Canada. Descendants of Grace are still in South Africa, while Ruby has descendants in Australia. Stanley was killed in Melbourne in 1912 and I have no information concerning Ernest.
