I'm looking for information of for my Gt grandfather Louis Rickards, supposedly born in Grafton, NSW, Australia around 1874. His nickname was Rex, his mother was Catherine Finnerty from Dublin, his father was possibly also called Louis Rickards.
Louis Rickards (jnr) was supposed to have spent some time in WA, (Kalgoorlie?) as a mining engineer. He went to New Zealand circa 1900-1905, where he married Leah Caselberg with whom he had 5 children.

Related Surnames:

Did he have anything to do with the Harry Rickards Vaudeville Company? They travelled all over Australia then went to NZ where Harry died around 1911.
