Thank you so much for your help, I have seen the DuPonts in Mass. before but I am a bit confused I have a sort of diary of mary Freitas just on her voyage from Portugal to Hi. and on to Ca. so I wasn't sure how Manuel would have ended up in Mass. but I am not possitive thats his name I just gathered that info. online somewhere.
