My grandmother's papers say Suffolk, I'm not so sure. I did find her marrying John Brand Jan 19, 1786 in Great Cornard, Suffolk England. I would like to know who her parents were and where she was born. Other family trees have her being born in 1760, but I haven't found proof of that.

from the above extract it looks like Margaret came from Little Waldingfield and her father was Jos. possibly Joseph, Joshua or Josh.

Another interesting thing, father mentioned on marriage it is possible that she was under age at time of marriage,17yrs requiring fathers consent.
Making her born about 1769 so 1771 Birth on death looks very possible.
