I have started researching my family. I am hitting road blocks at every step. So far I know the following:

Charles Addison Gessler b.1933 m. Donna Wilcox b. 1936
His father Martin Gessler Jr. b.1901 married Lois (?) and Dorothy O'Rourke b. 1906
His father Martin Gessler b. 1876 m. Parthenia C Swartz b. 1881

Hello Marlashroud - This may be of assistance - if not throw it in the rubbish can . I came across a " Martin Gessler - b- in Germany ( no other details on the american site ) except his marriage - to Mary Roher on the 20th of feb 1870 also -b- in germany -- coldwater - Michigan - Usa . No other details - some of the records You have may be inaccurate & causing the problem . on the LDS website - familysearch.org under IGI their are 34 entries for Gessler including the above in several states . Have you researched this website yet ? might be worth while !! Regards -edmondsallan
