Looking for Mary Jane Kane Keen Originaly Thought to Come from Ireland
Looking for any information on Mary/Jane Kane/Keen who was born 1768c in Ireland. She was convicted for theft in the Old Bailey London in 1799 and sentenced to transportation to Australia. She married William Hayden (also a convict)in Australia.
Hi Jenn888. I have just started researching the Keen/Kane/Cane side of my family. I am her 3xgreat grand daughter through her daughter, Anne, who married James Carr in Tumut.
