Looking for Mcginn of Watertown New York

Looking for information relating to Lawrence McGinn, born 1824, I presume in Ireland. Lived in Watertown, N.Y.
His son was Lawrence, Jr. His grandson, my grandfather, was also Lawrence.
Trying to find when he arrived in U.S. and where in Ireland he originally came from.
