Looking for Mcgowans from Milford Ireland

My grandfather was William Samuel McGowan who was born in Milford, Ireland on 12-28-1880. His parents were Joseph and Mary Ann Dycher McGowan.

My grandfather fought in the Boar War and was awarded a watch fob by the Queen of England. I have the fob and it is inscribed with hios name and the date, 1907.

At some point he emmigrated to the US and lived in Lowell, MA until his deather on 4-6-1943.

He was married to Gertrude Hawkins, DOB:4-29-1891. She was from Lancashire, England.
