Looking for Mee OR Bruce from London
I am looking for information on the Bruce/ Mee family line from London.
My step grandfather was Reginald Leonard Mee (B 11/6/11). He married Edith Maud Bruce in 1938. She was the daughter of Ernest James Bruce and Florence. Through the census it appears the mothers name was Florence Mina Bruce but I can find no marriage certificate in these names. The only marriage I can find was between Ernest James Bruce and Florence Beatrice Mee in1928. Is seems an odd connection that my step grandfather had the surname Mee and so did a wife of my step great grandfather! HELP! What am I doing wrong?
I found this marriage but according to the 1911 census they had had no child at this point

If you have the marriage cert what are the ages of Reginald and Edith ?
This looks like it might be Reginald's birth reg, mothers maiden name Parker. He will not appear on the 1911 census because it was before his birth reg in the 3 Quarter of 1911. census was 2 April in 1911.
