Mother was Honor Foley,fathers name on Marriage Certificate looks like "Festy" Keerins, Michael migrated to Australia c1850 died result of a mining accident 1864 at Ballarat, Victoria - married Mary Kelly, can anyone help?

Yes I have all that, and thank you for your response - it is more where do I start trying to find out about his parents, I do not have a place other than Galway Ireland, and Galway is a big place! Michael was my Great Great Grandfather - we have a few Family History researchers in our family but no one has made any headway - the name "Festy" stumps all of us.
