Looking for Miller of Gibraltar and Miller

My GGGF, Thomas Bristow MILLER, born in Deptford, London in 1790 and started work as an apprentice shipwright in 1805 in the Naval Dockyard in Gibraltar. He married Matilda CHAPLIN, a resident, in 1813 before moving on to the Malta dockyard after the Napoleonic wars in 1817. He lived there until 1837 before returning with his family to Portsmouth, England.

His son, John George MILLER, my GGF, was a Sailmaker in the East End of London who disappeared in unknown, tragic circumstances, possibly in India in the late 1870s.
