Do you have a christen name and place of birth in Wales ?

Whoops wizard 28 - Morris is the Surname. Christian name was Thomas. He married Catherine Evans on 11 Nov 1836 in Llanelli (St Elli Parish Church). Do not know his place of birth. He and Catherine apparently had 6 children in Wales before sailing to
Adelaide in Sth Australia but I have not been able to confirm their names or dates of birth as the children's names were not listed on the passenger shipping list. Gwebar

I think this is the correct family but it might be worth double checking

Wales, Carmarthenshire, Parish Registers
Name: Thomas Morris
Event Type: Baptism
Event Date: 30 Nov 1813 [[ on parish register it is 1823 ]]
Event Place: Llanelli, St Elli, Carmarthenshire, Wales
Digital Folder Number: 004201457

Lists parents as John and Mary Morris abode looks like Pentrepoeth, fathers occupation collier.
There were other siblings with baptisms on the same day. Not Unusual some families waited until eldest child was nearing marriage age before having their children baptised.

Age order:

Ann Morris age 11.5 born about 1811
Elizabeth Morris age 11.5 born about 1811
Thomas Morris age 9 born about 1813
Margaret Morris age 3 born about 1820
Sarah Morris age 1 born about 1822

Do you know when Catherine and Thomas arrived in Adelaide [approx year}

Thanks Wizard 28 sorry for delay have been away. Thomas and Catherine arrived in Adelaide Sth Australia on the Glen Huntley on 2 Dec 1849 with 6 children (unnamed on shipping list), Thomas was involved in the mining sector as he also did similar work when he arrived in South Australia (at the Burra Mines). I will check further re the info you have given me but it sounds promising. Gwen
