Looking for Morris IN Halifax Nova Scotia from Scotland

Would like to know if any one has any information of the Morris family
that came from St. Andrews Scotland - my grandfather John Morris born
09/14/1840 came to Nova Scoita Canada 1850, lived in Halifax and
married Isabella Robertson.
I would like to know more about his family in Scotland,
