Looking for Mos S Es Glascock

trying to locate ancestors.i have hit a dead end.i know my ggggrandfather was moses glascock,gggrandfather was benjamin f glascock,gfather was george m glascock.unable to find any info on moses prior to marriage to sarah austin in 1833 in st.helena parish la.any help would be appreciated.
