Looking for Muirhead of Lanarkshire Scotland

My great grandfather's name was John Muirhead, he came from Lanarkshire Scotland, was born 1834? and imigrated to New Zealand. Not sure what year that was.

He married a Margaret Ann Lawson in 1877 in Dunedin at the age of 43. They had 7 children, 4 girls 3 boys. He was a labourer.

He Died in 1891 and is buried at Portobello Cemetery.

Do not know who his parents are.
