Looking for Murrells

Have traced family tree back to my g-g-g-grandfather Wiley Anderson Murrell b 1806. He marr Mary Magdalene Honts in 1834 Botetourt, VA. But cannot find his parents. A distant cousin in searching thought his father may be a John Murrell and mother a Elizabeth Anderson. The name William Anderson is passed down through generations. Would appreciate any help.
