Looking for My Half Brother

My father Chester W. Parrish was married to a Lois May MacDonald, but before they got married she became pregnant. In 1944 MS. MacDonald gave birth to my brother Colin MacDonald and put him in a Catholic Convent in Columbus, Ohio.

I just have these details because they were on some papers in Dads Military packet I had received. I would very much like to know if Colin is alive or dead.
