Looking for Noelle Barbara Connolly Nee Heaven
Noelle Heaven was born In Devon in 1912, arrived with her family in Australia in 1920, married Francis Connolly in 1933, , living in Melbourne until about October 1935, she then left for South Africa sometime after that,without her husband, she must have been in South Africa by about August 1936. Had a child in South Africa April 1937. She used the name of Moore in South Africa although there is no evidence of a divorce from Frank Connolly or another marriage in South Africa to Moore. I am looking for the date she left Australia and on what ship and under what name.

Hi Thanks for replying so promptly!! Yes This was my family - my Mother was Noelle and it is her I am researching. I have followed her right up to the time she left Australia, and I know what happened after she got to South Africa, I just cant find how she left Australia and under what name. It may have been Connolly (which I dont think) or it was under the name of Heaven.... thanks again.
Hello, my grandmother was Beryl Heaven. Daughter of Walter Heaven from his first wife. Walter remarried and had 2 daughters Noelle and Patricia.
My Grandmother Beryl went to South Africa and Married Frank Hull. They had 2 sonsLeonard Frank Hull (my father) and Frank Hull (my uncle). Beryl remarried a McCloud.. she died in a old age home in KalkBay Cape Town when I was about 20 years old. She spoke of Lundy to me and showed me the paper of the sale of the island. I now live in the U.K. And Lundy is on my list to still visit.

Just to add, if you are looking for Noelle, from what I have been told she never left Australia and is still living there on the Gold Coast.. I am trying to find her too.. (if she is the Noelle Heaven of Lundy?)
Perhaps you have been told incorrect info as it was Beryl her half sister that married the South African and not the 2 sisters from Walters 2nd marriage.
I have been told that the family have contacted the author of The Heavens of Lundy (mertyl) she might have contact details for Noelle

Africa to join my Aunt Beryl, I was born in South Africa. It was their younger sister Patricia who lived on the Gold Coast, her son Noel still lives there
I have Myrtle's book, she gave it as a present to me when we met on Lundy. I am now living in Sydney. My Mother Noelle died in South Africa in 1976.
I never knew my Mother had married in Melbourne 1933, before she married my father ( or if she ever married my father) there is no trace. and it is this information I cant seem to trace.
