Looking for O Brien from Silvermines Tipperary

I am searching for PATRICK O'BRIEN born around 1851, Silvermines,Tipperay.He came to New Zealand,I dont know when and married CATHERINE LOWRY in 1879, St. Patricks Cathredal,Auckland. He was somehow related to Gleeson family and have found evidence of Patrick, having been a Publican in Thames and Rob Roy Hotel in Auckland.Am wondering if he was buried as a pauper.Have found death details of his wife Catherine only.They had several children, Daniel, Michael,Patrick,John,William Francis,James Joseph,Margaret Kathleen,Jeremiah Hugh.Michael was killed in first world war at Messines.Patrick is my 'brick wall" and would really appreciated any clues.
