Looking for Parents of Elijah Strickland 1790 1877

Hi, I am looking for information on the ancestors of Elijah Strickland, born 14 Feb 1790 in Connecticut, married Eliza Strickland 14 Jun 1814 in Essex New Jersey, and died 10 May 1877 either in Huntington, NY or Brooklyn NY. Any assistance or clues would be greatly appreciated.
