My great-great grandparents were also PATRICK MCGOWAN and ANNA MCHUGH. I've been researching the family history for a great deal of time, but sorry I have not been able to identify the parents of PATRICK. My great grandfather was Joseph James McGowan and my grandfather was Bernard Patrick McGowan. I suspect you likely have all the same information I have. Can you reveal who your great-grandfather was? PS: I have not found any substantial evidence that ANNA MCHUGH-MCGOWAN Died 1885 in Iowa City, Wright, Iowa. Her exact death date and the location remain a mystery to me just like PATRICK'S parents.
