Robert Gooch Martin and Annie Mae Vick were my maternal gggrandparents. William Brent Martin and Elizabeth Alexandria Shirley were my ggrandparents.
Annie Mae Martin and T J McGowan were my grandparents. Annie Mae's 2nd husband was Tommie Lee Brown. My mother is Dorothy Leona McGowan-Foster.
I am Dollie Anne Foster, 65 years old and I was born and live in Corpus Christi, Texas. I am the mother of a son and daughter. I would like to learn more about my ancestors and living family

Robert's Dad was Sam Martin and his wife was Donnie Tendall (not sure of the spelling of her name. My mother has lots of information on the Martin Family. She is Dorothy Hill Humphreys. The oldest of Lillian's Children. she is 86 years old. Not in great health, but her mind is great, Send me a message if you still need information and I will get you in touch with her.
I am trying to keep up and learn as much from her as possible.

It is so good to here from you. I know very little about the Martin side of our family . My mother DOROTHY FOSTER is a granddaughter of WIlliam Brent Martin and Elizabeth Alexandria Shirley. They had 14 children 7 made it to adulthood including my grandmother Annie Mae Martin McGowan Brown. Mother is 89 and is in ill health. So I am trying to leave a comprehensive genealogy for my children. Thsnk you for this wonderful information.
