Looking for Parents of Samuel Howard

My gr grandfather Samuel Raymond HOWARD was born between 1845-47 in Cincinnati, OH. He married Elizabeth BENNETT in Denver, CO in 1871 and moved to Gravely Lakes, Lake, California. Gravely Lakes is now known as Upper Lake. His father's name was George HOWARD from PA and that is all we have on him.
