Hi Lilyrose, Patrick Dillon was born in 1859 in Parkalough County, Clare, Ireland. Died in 1935 , Prebbleton, Christchurch, New Zealand. Married Elizabeth Garvin on 9.12.1895 in Cheviot, North Canterbury, New Zealand. They had 8 children . I am one of there g.grand-daughter's and would like to know more about them and there perent's. Hi Lyn, We must be closely related as I am also a g-grand daughter of Patrick and Elizabeth. In researching this side of the family is very difficult into Ireland and finding more about Patrick. I have some information about Elizabeth's family and have been in touch her g-nephew in Ireland who has been looking at the Garvin side history.
Hi Lilyrose , My Gran parent's were Winfred Garvin Dillon and Frank Nelson Turoa Stanton , I have been given information on the Stanton's from Aunty Betty and Dad's cousin Trevor. But not much on the Dillon's . Do you live in Christchurch. if so may be we can meet up. lyn
