Hi Jo - All Fingers and Toes crossed that someone can help us.
Just thought I might add that our Grandmother May's Mother was Nancy Stevens- nee Herbert- and our Maternal Grandfather was William J. Stevens.
On the Paternal side our Grandfather Baden Hepburn's Mother was Adeline Matilda Hepburn and his Father -we have been informed= was Robert Hepburn who died and was buried in Condobolin in 1907. [Baden our Grandfather was born in 1906 ]
Hi JO found this in N.S.W b/d/m
Nathanael William Wilson Married Florence Louisa BalK or BlaKe in 1933 in Sydney
Registration Number 5081/1933 May be someone Knows of them or their family
Hey Daz
I've been searching for them but must have missed it as I had different name spelling and that does make it
hard. There's loads of wilson marriages (32 pages) and I am still sifting through it, who knows, what we may
find for Wilson.
Just a few thoughts that may or may not help you in your search for Peter.
If Nathanael was in the Police Force perhaps they may have some information about him and his family movements.
You could try the local station at Ashfield or contact the Head Office you just might find something on where he was stationed.
Another avenue could be St Anthony's itself, they sometimes kept track of the children.
Also have you tried Ashfield Council and library they may have some local records that might help in the search.
I've asked my family but they don't see to remember Nathanael or Florence Wilson, my family still lives around Oak Street, been there since early 1920's.

This last one will tie in with the death you found on NSW BMD 1958. You may have to purchase the Marriage Certificate for Nathanael & Florence and a copy of the Death for Nathaniel just to verify that it's the same person.
You can order them direct from the NSW BDM Site or from http://www.joymurrin.com.au they are a bit cheaper from Joy.
I'll have a check in the QLD BMD and see if I can find a death for Florence, you could have a look yourself too in case I miss it.
http://www.justice.qld.gov.au/justice-services/births-deaths-and-marriages/family-history-research/search-our-historical-records
go to this web address then scroll down and you will see "online historical index search" just click on the link and it will take you to the search, it's free to search the same as NSW.
Hhhmmm didn't find a death for her but I did find a Florence Louisa Wilson living at "Woongoolba" via Yatala QLD on the Electoral Rolls between 1949 - 1980. I wonder if she left Nathaniel?? leaves you with more questions and not many answers.
hope this helps you in your ongoing search
