I am Charlie's biological daughter. I was born in 1974. He never knew about me and I was only told about him when I was a teenager.
I am exclusively on here to find out any information about Charlie. I grew up with my Mum and (from 2 years old) my Step-Dad (who I love to bits and he is my Dad). I had an average life in the grand scheme of things. For whatever reason Mum chose not to let Charlie know she was pregnant (I am guessing it's because he was married with children)and carried on from there. I need to know about him for my own piece of mind, because I have children of my own and because he is a part of me. I don't know my own Iwi, I have never felt I can fully embrace my Maori culture because I can't answer any questions as to where my whanau is from and I can't teach my children about their Iwi etc. I am not looking for an instant family or anything like that, I just need information and am at a loss as to where to go from here. After he died there is vertually nothing. I can find no family members from his side to get information from or even a photo. I don't have the money to get someone else do the digging for me so this is an avenue I have tried. I just need the name of someone who can help me get the information I need.
