Looking for Purchess of Portsmouth Portsea Island

Victor Gilbert Purchess (1900-1956), married Ethel Emma Bonner and was the youngest of 11. His mother's name was Mary Ann Gilbert but father's name remains a mystery.

We know that two of his brothers, Albert and George, both died in WW1 and in fact Victor went out to the Somme with the Field Artilery Regiment at the age of 16 but when his brothers found out he was there, they had him sent back as he was too young.
