Looking for Putze Family

I am searching for relatives of the Putze family - my mother was Patricia Putze (married name Thorn), she had a sister Joyce, a brother Stan and another brother Ken. Her mums name was Janet Cassels or Cassells and her dad's name John. I seem to have hit a brick wall and not sure where to go from here. They were from the South Island.
