Hello, I am descended from a Robert Rae who married Isabella Rae (different family) and lived in Greenhills near Bluff. Their son Thomas is my link who married Florence Louisa Beatrice Moreton, daughter of NZ painter Samuel Horatio Moreton. Robert was born to Thomas Rae and Mary Smellie and had one brother John. Isabella is daughter to William Rae and Janet Jamieson.
