Looking for Relatives Ancestors of James Miles Degroat Died 1895

Looking for relatives/ancestors of James Miles DeGroat (died:1895). He married Mary M Martin (born:1867 died:1898). Don't know where they were born, but they did have three children, one of whom was my grandmother, Sarah Clementine DeGroat (Born: 1890 in Galatia, Ill.) Family 'word of mouth' only provides the information that James' father or perhaps his grandfather immigrated from France, year unknown.
