Looking for Richard Poston IN VA
Richard Jr Poston was born around 1790 in Washington, County Va. Died Jan.30, 1843 in Pulaski Coounty Mo. he married Elizabeth Amelia Copeland Dec. 15, 1809 in Overton county Tn. Elizabeth's was the daughter of Col. Stephen Copeland and Sarah Townsend. Elizabeth was born around 1791 in Jefferson county NC. died after 1860 in Overton County Tn.

I have done a lot of research work on this part of my family. Mattie Poston married James William Buckley. I am taking this from my memory,don't have the file in front of me now. But, I think that is right, where do you fit in the family?
