Looking for Ricky Joe Mowery

I am looking for my father ricky joe mowery. he and my mother met in lubbock, tx in the early 80's and from the research I have done I have found out that he was in the navy but no one has been able to find him since about 1985 or so. I was born in 1983 and my mother died in 1985. I have been looking for him as long as I can remember but no luck. I am not looking for him to try to have a father daughter bond, I am looking for him so he can tell me about my mother. I dont remember her so I just want to know what made him fall in love with her and why he never tried to find me.
