Looking for Shannon of Whakatane New Zealand

I heard they came from Londonerry Ireland.
I believe they had two children: Brian Kevin SHANNON 1949
Noreen Delwyn SHANNON 1953

I am trying to find the names of the parents of Kevin and Noreen.
My research has led me to believe they resided in Whakatane in the 1940's
