Hi ausiwe
Do you have access to Ancestry .com
If so in the public domain there is a tree which mentions your ggg grandma and names her husband and kids.
If you fill in the details with Sarah Statton etc it should come up but if not you are looking for a tree by " mme".
Let me know if I can help at all Sue

Hi Tracey my ggggrandfather is Robert Batt. Married to Sarah Stratton. His son is George Batt. His son is then Thomas Batt then my grandfather Henry then my dad Russell. All confusing to me still as still learning all this stuff.
Stumbled across this site again tonight entirely by accident. i haven't done much more research on the batt family since last year - there are so many of them i can't untangle them. i hope you've had more luck!
Feel free to contact me directly at traceym1023@aol.com - thanks!
