AM wondering if there are descendants of CHinese Hakkas with the surname TAI in Panama?
The family story is that my Great Grand Uncle and my Great Grand Father ventured to Panama when the Panama Canal was being built.

Yes, I am of a Dai/Tai descendant ancestry of hakka and have been able to trace back my roots to china where my grandpa and great grandpa lived. Literally, Dai/Tai in chinese means "wearing a hat"
