Looking for the Colonna Family IN Naples

My great-grandfather, Nicola Colonna, was born in Naples, but I can't find him in the records in America. He was a Carbineri in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I know that the Colonna are a big family. I just need some help to find more information about him. Thanks.
