Looking for the families of the Curtis, Cobley and Downs families that are spread around New Zealand. The Curtis line came from London aboard the ship Ashmore in 1882, William Cobley was a partner in the Shotover Mine in Thames and the Downs' married into the Curtis family, William Downs was an oilskin manufacturer in Auckland, NZ.
