Looking for the family of Jerome Johnson Colson born 1855 in Independence county Arkansas.The 1860 census for Independence county Arkansas lists Jerome J Colson as 4 years old and his sister (Lizzie ?) as 2 years old. Their father is listed as James J Colson but their mother is not listed. James J Colson was born about 1830 in Alabama. Any information appreciated.
