My maternal grandfather was William Sanford. I'm not sure about his dates, however. The family called his Will or Sandy. HIs father, Alfeed, was born in England and he ran a bakery in Palatine, IL.

William's middle name was Arthur. His father was Alfred John Sanford. Will's mother was Carrie Mary Maude Lesser Sanford. William and Charlotte were twins, BTW. My genealogy materials are filed away currently. I'll try to update in a few weeks.
