Looking for the Parents of Chas F Gibbs Sr

Hello all,
I am doing Gibbs family research. I have found up to Chas. F. Gibbs,b. Jun 29, 1814 in Clark co. Kentucky. d. Feb.7. 1901 in Pike Co. Mo.
I am stuck!
I can't find who his parents were, or anything about them.
Any help would be great!
