Looking for Webb descendants in Lyttleton, N.Z. in the 1860's

Query by orevco

My Gt Gt grandfather William Webb (b.abt. 1829) and his wife Mary(nee Ridler)of Bream, Gloucester, emigrated to Lyttleton, NZ on the Brothers Pride, 07 Dec 1863. They had 14 children, 6 born in Bream and 8 born in Lyttleton. The Brothers Pride was put in quarantine when it arrived in NZ because of a cholera? outbreak on board and in fact 2 of their children died on the voyage. My great grandmother, Helen Matilda Webb was their first NZ child and she married my gt grandfather William Norgate, the 2nd youngest son of David Norgate, Nelson pioneer.

I am keen to find descendants of Helen Matilda Norgate (nee Webb) and to see if any of her siblings have continuing lines. In spite of there being 14 children, most died as children except for Frances Emily Jane Webb b. 15 Mar 1870 who I believe married William James Robert Lowcay, and Rose Annie Webb b.26 Feb 1872 of whom I have no more data.

Mary died 28 July 1876 aged 44 which after 14 children is mind boggling. I have no record of what happened with William Webb after 1876 except that his occupation is miner and/or tunnel watchman (Lyytleton Rail Tunnel I presume)
