looking for infomation on Margaret Whylie from Holmbyre farm Ardrossan daughter of Alexander Whylie i think she had a brother alexander and sister Jane who looks like married her cousin Robert whylie Margaret was married to Robert Archibald from Dalry he died and she remarried James Donald.
Margaret was my GG Grandmother would love to connect to any relative that are out there.

Just a long shot. I live in Australia. My G Grandmother had a mother named Margaret Willie(spelling debatable) who married James Donald. My G Grandmothers name I believe was Margaret Mary Donald who married Alexander McMillan and had a family in Australia. She was buried as Mary McMillan at Carlyle cemetery Victoria Australia.

I have in my tree Margaret Wyllie b.1827 who married 1. Robert Archibald b.1826 & 2. James Donald b.1827. Margaret came to New Zealand & her daughter Margaret Crichton Archibald died when she as 16. Is this the same family you are looking for?
