Looking for William Allen of Chicago IL
I am looking for William Allen, His birthday is May 19, 1879. I believe he was born in Denmark. He came to Chicago and married Elizabeth Droese in 1903. They had 1 daughter named Irene, who was born in 1904. Elizabeth died in 1911. I beliewe Irene meet with him as a teenager. "Will" was a lineman for the Postal Telegraph Co. in 1918. This is all I know of him.
I searched Familysearch.com, to see if I could find them but I did not find anyone with the dates you provided. But I did go through Find a Grave and to look for anyone that I thought might be them and I did find a William Allen born May 22, 1879 and died Jan 26,1957 He is buried in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, Macoupin Co, Ill. His find a grave memorial # 92702104. I also found an Irene Allen and that is if she never married, Born 1904, died 1990, she is buried in: Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Cemetery in Dahlgren, Hamilton Co. Ill. Her find a grave # 98667446, I did find 2 Elizabeth Allen's that died in 1911 that I thought might be the Elizabeth Allen that you are looking for: Elizabeth M Allen born 1878 Died 1911 Buried in Rock Church Cemetery Grant Co, Wisconsin and Her find a grave memorial # 144716310 and the other Elizabeth Allen Born 1868, died 1911 buried in Hillcrest Cemetery Decatur, Burt Co, Nebraska her find a grave memorial # is 95676811. I don't know why I could not find anything in Family Search but I might have to go to our genealogy center to find anything. But if those are not the ones you are looking for, we might need more information . I might could find this Postal Telegraph Co. and see if I can find a William Allen listed.
