Looking for William Beverland Baverland S Family

By Patog December 8, 2009 2330 views 1 comments

William was born about 1849 in Tollcross, Scotland and in 1872 married Margaret Adams AFFLECK. They emigrated to New Zealand in the early 1900s. William is my great-grandfather.
I believe that his father was William Samuel BEVERLAND (BAVERLAND) and in 1847 he married Mary SPIERS.
Mary and William are my great-great-grandparents.
There has always be some confusion over the spelling of the surname, hence the names spelt two different ways.
I would like any information on them. If anyone can help I would be grateful. Many thanks.

Hello Patog?

I am researching the surname Bevelander, Beverland etc. myself. The surname is Dutch and spelt as Beverland but in Dutch speaking language sounds like the English Baverland.
When you mail me your e-mail adress I can give you access to the international family page of Bevelander, Beverland, Beaverland etc.
Of course I am curious if we can match information.

Greetings,

Chris Bevelander
