Looking for William Cotter from Cork Ireland

WILLIAM COTTER was my great great grandfather born around 1844 in Ireland. He had a son THOMAS COTTER born around 1879 in Cork, Ireland who married Mary Ann Butcher in West Ham, London in 1907. THOMAS COTTER's mother was MARY HOARE but cannot find out any other information of WILLIAM COTTER.
