Have you tried getting someone to do a lookup at rootschat.com in the England boards, on the 1841 Census? Try the Manchester childboard first. People didn't usually move around too much and you may strike gold!
They should be somewhere with their family, listing father's occupation, siblings names, approximate ages, servants, abode of address, etc.
