Looking for information on parents/ancestries of William Wilson, b ca 1838 d during civil war. Married Adalet Burton ca 1880 probably in Durham or Orange Co., daughter of Thomas Burton and Margarette(Peggy) Porterfield. 1860 census found in Yanceyville District, Caswell Co, NC; Williams occupation was shoemaker in 1860

William and Adalet had the following children: Thomas D May 1855 to bet 1900/1910. Left family so not sure if death dates are true married Willie Annie James (Mar 1860-30 Jun 1915); Damarios Ann b ca 1858 m: Samuel John Dixon 1886 in Reidsville Caswell Co NC; John Henry (15 Oct 1863 Person Co, NC - 23 Jan 1936, Virginia)married Leanah Hall, then America Hall. It is said that he was adopted by Silis Hopkins from Hurdles Mill, NC
