Looking Please for Information on Adam Hickson 1821 1900

I am trying to find some information on the family of Adam HICKSON who was born in 1821-1900.
He i do believe was a salt maker and maybe possibly a farmer or maybe a labourer'
It is believed that he lived in a place named Over,winsfordor wharfton.
It is believed that Adams father was William Hickson but cannot find any record of Adams mother anywhere
not even mentioned .
Did Adam have a family at all,if so who were they and what did they do
