In Gisborne located 20 minuets West of the City on the main high way to the Bay Of Plenty and the rest of the Northern half of the North Island of New Zealand is a very big Dry - Stock,sheep and cattle Station called Holdworth Station.It would be one of the largest land holding still in private hands.

i live in the U.K and my last name is Holdsworth.
in England is where the Holdsworth name started and many of the family moved over to the u.s.a, australia and new zealand, sue i will chek with my dad about a james holdsworth but he doesnt keep in touch with the majority of our family anymore unfortunatly.
